Dà Mhìle Single Malt Welsh Whisky - Marsala Dolce - 2026 Release
Maturation: Marsala Dolce.
Distilled & Casked: February 2019.
Cask Bottling: 2026 - 70cl, 35cl & 5cl @ 46% ABV.
This single cask bottling truly highlights the classic flavours of an Italian wine cask. Light, crisp and sweet, a dram you’ll keep coming back to.
This is our first ever release of a Marsala cask aged whisky and it is truly something unique.
As with all our spirits, our single malt whisky is made from purely organic ingredients. The organic barley for this release was grown in the UK and harvested in the Autumn of 2018. Our master distiller then expertly fermented, distilled and casked this “new spirit” in February 2019. Since then it has matured in a single Marsala cask until being bottled this Spring.
Nose:
An instant hit of floral, fruity, spiced, barrel aged wine, followed by light vanilla and warmed oak wood.
Mouth:
Classic, sweet wine cask flavours leading in to toasted oak and liquorice, which all become enveloped by the whiskies warm embrace.
Finish:
The warmth subsides allowing the residual sweetness and toasted oak to shine. Long oak finish.
